About the BNC Inn

Country Comfort

Built in 1896, the Blue Note Country Inn was originally the “homeplace” and touchstone of the Proffitt Family farm. Lovingly restored, the BNC Inn serves as the perfect setting for a romantic getaway, wedding venue, family reunion or corporate retreat. Amazingly, we were spared the ravages of Hurricane Helene in Oct. 2024. Please help Western NC rebuild by letting local businesses and vendors show you the true heart of “Southern Hospitality.” We are here to do what we do best - make you feel comfortable and welcome, warm and at ease.
